The Portuguese Cinematheque - Museum of Cinema - is the Portuguese cultural institution responsible for safeguarding and promoting the cinematographic heritage at both national and international levels, with the aim of promoting, disseminating, and developing cinematographic culture. The project involves the proposal of a new graphic identity that reflects the values and history of the brand, in order to develop a contemporary communication strategy, allowing the Cinematheque to establish a more faithful and current connection with its audience. This rebranding was inspired by the New Cycle of the Cinematheque and the transition from the analog to the digital era, resulting in a proposal to 'modernize the past'.
